AI Security and Changing Threat Economics

Automated vulnerability research is moving quickly. I am more interested in adaptable evidence pipelines than precise forecasts.

Research notes

I have been looking at how automated vulnerability research may reduce the time and cost of finding exploitable software flaws. The rate of change is uncertain, so I do not want to turn capability demonstrations into precise forecasts.

The more durable conclusion is that defenders need systems that can absorb new evidence quickly, distinguish validated exploitation from speculation, and update priorities without rewriting the whole workflow.

ThreatWatch

ThreatWatch pipeline analysis also highlighted the value of explicit per-run quality signals. A restart can make a symptom disappear without explaining its cause, so structured counters and bounded caches are necessary for reliable diagnosis.

Accuracy depends on both the intelligence model and the health of the system producing it.
